Helen is a biomedical sciences graduate from King’s College London and a qualified secondary science teacher with over two decades of classroom experience. She specialises in teaching and assessing learners with SpLDs, holding a Level 7 qualification and an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). Helen is also ADOS-2 trained for autism assessment and a member of

Jeanette Butterworth (Tutor & Assessor)

Co-founder dyslexia test centre. | BEd, MA Deaf Education, NPQH, SpLD APC, PGCert SENCO | BSL Interpreter | ADOS-2 trained


Jeanette brings over 25 years of experience across education sectors, including SENCO and leadership roles in autism resource provisions. She is a qualified Teacher of the Deaf, BSL Interpreter, and holds a range of specialist qualifications, including a Level 7 SpLD qualification and the APC. Jeanette has worked at school and Local Authority level and is passionate about language, accessibility, and learner independence.

Senior Mental Health Practitioner RMN BSc, MSc, MBA QTLS, RQTU (BPS), Fellow of SET ADOS/ADIR trained, Fellow of SET QTLS A1, V1 & V2

Steven is a dual-qualified mental health nurse and teacher with a strong background in education, assessment, and neurodiversity. A Fellow of the Society for Education and Training and a Registered Qualified Test User (RQTU) with the British Psychological Society,
Steven holds a Level 7 qualification in Ability/Attainment . Drawing on both professional and personal experience with reading difficulties, Steven is passionate about making assessment meaningful, empowering learners through understanding their strengths and challenges. Member Dyslexia Guild as a
